We at Drainage 2000 Ltd are a very successful local drainage company set up in 2000 and carry out all aspects of drainage maintenance and repairs for both domestic and commercial clients. We take pride in putting our customers first and making them the heart of what we do. We are currently in the process of a large scale expansion of the business and have invested heavily in obtaining state of the art vehicles and equipment and also ensuring that we have recruited the right people to work for us and put them through an extensive training programme.

As part of the expansion we currently have a vacancy for a part time credit controller to work alongside us and further develop the business and help us achieve the goal as the best local drainage company.

Main duties are to include

  • Raising customer invoices
  • Dealing with customer queries to enable payment to be released
  • Chasing overdue accounts
  • Updating and maintaining client credit control communication records
  • Opening new customer accounts
  • Posting receipts to customer
  • Provide weekly reports on customer account status
  • Update on non-paying clients
  • Provide monthly statements for clients
  • Responsibility for the credit control department

  • Answering telephone queries
  • Cover where required for other administrative staff
  • Holiday cover
Person specification
  • Ability to work under their own initiative
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to work to and exceed targets set
  • Experience within a credit control roll is essential
  • Extensive knowledge of SAGE Accounts is essential
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel
