Words cannot express how big our smiles were when reading the below email . William Marshall and Martin Ogley, you have done us proud lads!

"I am contacting you to send my massive thanks to the two drivers who gave me a lift through the floods on Friday.

I had abandoned my car as the flood I needed to cross to reach my horses was unpassable. I was panicking as the flood was also not possible to pass on foot. It was a desperate situation, but the two drivers were amazing!

They really are a credit to your company. Please can you let them know how much I appreciate their efforts in getting me safely through the flood water and also dropping me at a point of safety. They had already endured a really long journey back and for them to go out of their way for me is just remarkable”.

The women also went on to comment on the post saying.

“I was the lucky lady to come across these two hero's on Friday!

Without them I would have had to wade through this flood in an attempt to reach my horses 2 mile up the road. It was beginning to get dark and I was genuinely scared I might not get there!

I hope they receive some recognition for being so amazing!

The lads also didn’t just rescue her, they also helped tow out a van that had got stuck in front of them .. they were heroes to everyone that night
